The Human Edit was built on one simple belief: lasting health doesn’t come from one workout, one supplement, or one doctor. It comes from understanding your body—and building it with intention. This is health, refined within a supportive wellness community.
The Human Edit was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, founded on a simple belief: lasting health doesn’t come from one place—it comes from the right team. Just as we rely on trusted doctors and specialists for medical care, true wellness is built through collaboration among skilled professionals who understand the body as an integrated system.
The Human Edit unites an accomplished community of health and wellness experts—across movement, strength, recovery, and performance strength—into a thoughtfully curated collective designed to support longevity training, resilience, and peak capability, particularly for active adults and athletes over 50.
This is a more intelligent, connected approach to wellness. Intentional. Disciplined. Deeply human.
Health, edited. Wellness, curated around you.

Byron LaBare
For more than two decades, Byron has worked at the intersection of medical science and performance—collaborating with physicians, specialists, and rehabilitation experts focused on neuromuscular health, movement mechanics, and recovery. This experience gave him rare, real-world insight into human anatomy and biomechanics, injury prevention, nervous system regulation, performance under stress, and the realities of aging and adaptation.
His background informs a practical, evidence-based approach to training, fueling, and recovery—designed for sustainable performance in real life, not fleeting fitness trends.
After years spent pursuing performance, Byron came to understand a deeper truth: health is not only about output. It is about presence. Patience. Adaptation. Resilience—and who you share the journey with.
He built The Human Edit for the three people who matter most: Inger, his life partner; his mother, Nancy; and Kobe, his mini Goldendoodle. They are his daily reminder that strength is not only physical—it is relational.
